Ft. Collins, Colorado-based whole home music streaming system developer
CasaTunes said today that it has added support for Leviton's Hi-Fi 2 distributed audio system to its streaming support. Leviton makes its own zoned, distribute audio system. The two said the deal means that basic commands--like Pause, Play, Next track, and Previous track--all work between the two systems. Leviton is a provider of building automation and security systems, which also includes other devices, such as smart thermostats, video surveillance, and audio; the company's systems are more basic than CasaTunes' own set of Internet-connected, multi-room audio systems.
