Sphero has rolled out a new version of its popular, robotic ball, aimed specifically at helping students and schools learn all about science and engineering. Sphero said its new
Sphero SPRK Edition is aimed at "tomorrow's inventors and innovators", and features a clear-shell and a new app specifically helped to teach robotics and STEM principles. SPRK -- which stands for Schools, Parents, Robots, Kids--is already being used for teaching in grades 3-12 at the St. Vrain Valley Schools in Longmont, according to Sphero. Sphero said the new SPRK Edition Sphero costs $129.
