TapInfluence, the developer of online marketing software, said last week that it has named a new CEO. TapInfluence said that Promise Phelon, a Silicon Valley technology veteran, has been named as CEO, with co-founder and former CEO Rustin Banks becoming Chief Product Officer. According to Banks, the move comes as it was "time to scale" at the company, and a need for a "scaling CEO". Phelan was previously Chief Revenue Officer at The Resumator, and also had served at The Phelon Group, BEA Systems, and UpMo.
