Zayo Expands With $52M Kansas Acquisition
Boulder-based infrastructure provider Zayo Group said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of the carrier and enterprise networks of Buhler, Kansas-based IdeaTek Systems, adding around 1800 route miles to the company's network in Kansas. Zayo said it paid $52M in cash for the network. IdeaTek will continue to operate its own residential and small business network as IdeaTek Telecom.
