Vivint has made an investment in one of its strategic partners, high speed wireless chipset maker
Quantenna, as part of the company's strategic relationship. According to Quantenna, it raise a new round of funding, led by Centerview Capital Technology, Vivint and NTT Group, and also including prior investors Sequoia Capital, DAG Ventures, Rusnano, Sigma Partners and Venrock. Vivint had invested in Quantenna as part of a March funding round that also included Swisscom, Telefonica and NTT. Vivint Wireless, the wireless communications arm of Vivint, is using Quantenna's chips as part of its broadband access over Wi-Fi service.
