FreeWave Launches New M2M Products
Boulder-based FreeWave Technologies, which develops wireless communications technology used in the industrial market, said today that it has launchd a new family of products. The new WaveContact products are aimed at industrial, machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, including sensor networks in the oil and gas, factory automation, industrial control, smart grid, and other related markets. The company said the new products are ruggedized for use in hazardous environments, and handle both short and long distance communications.
