Unlikely Hit YouTube Show Crafted at BYU
In this day and age of YouTube networks, is looks like you don't need to be a big Hollywood studio to create a hit YouTube series. According to cable television network BYUtv, one of its original, comedy series--Studio C--has now racked up more than 60 million views on YouTube. Studio C--which posts online, original comedy sketches to YouTube 180 times per year--apparently grew out of the efforts of undergraduates in BYU's sketch comedy troupe, Divine Comedy. Studio C said its is launching a fifth season of the show October 6th; the channel's most viewed sketch, Bane Birthday Party, has more than 620,000 views.
