SpotXchange Expands In Europe
Denver-based SpotXchange, the video advertising exchange led by Michael Shehan, says it is expanding in Europe--no surprise, given the majority acquisition of the company by European entertainment firm RTL Group las month. According to SpotXchange, is has reached an agreement with the uropean operations of RTL Group, including IP Deutschland's Netzathleten Media and RTL Nederland's Videostrip, where those publishers will use SpotXchange's platform for their video advertising efforts. Those deals are apparently the first by RTL's various companies to adopt SpotXchange's platform and technology. RTL Group apparently owns interests in 53 television channels and 28 radio stations.
