Robert White, the Chief of Police for Denver, has apologied and opened up an investigation of what looked to be
harassment of a Uber rider, which was
reported over the weekend. In an open letter
posted on the Denver Police Department's twitter feed, White apologized for the inconvenience and frustration of the stop, and said the department's Internal Affairs Bureau would talk with the rider, Dave Cook, about the incident. White said in the letter the report was "concerning" and that the investigation would look to see if the officer's conduct was within policy and appropriate.
