Flashing Lights: One Visitor's Denver Uber Experience
Despite Colorado's recent law supporting ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft, it appears that it's not all smooth sailing for the service in Denver, or its customers. Apparently, police have been harassing riders of Uber coming out of DIA, according to a first hand report at GeekWire. According to that first hand account, the Denver Police have been pulling over Uber drivers and warning passengers that accepting a ride from the service is illegal. Uber launched in Denver back in August of 2013.
