FG Angels, the investment syndicate run by Foundry Group through the AngelList angel funding service, has led a $1.1M investment in a new company,
Leap.it, Leap.it said this week. Leap.it develops a highly visual search engine, which delivers search results as a stream of photos and social media links. FG Angel invested $250,000 in Leap.it, and Foundry's Brad Feld led the deal. Leap.it is based in Kansas City, and has been housed in Fiberhouse, Feld's effort in Kansas to tap into Google Fiber.
