SpinGo Announces $2M Funding For Event Engine
Salt Lake City-based SpinGo, the startup founded by Kreg and Amanda Peeler which powers the calendar section of many media and newspaper publications, officially announced its $2M funding this morning. The company--which had disclosed the funding a couple of weeks ago informally--said the new funding brings its total raised to $6M. The funding came from Utah angel investors Josh James, Rick Alden, Todd Pedersen, Alan Hall, and Greg Warnock. SpinGo helps connect event promoters and media partners with its tools, which include event guides, widgets, and much more. The company says it has an audience of over 55 million people.
