Accuvant Acquired By Blackstone
Denver-based Accuvant, which provides information security services, said today that it is in a definitive agreement to be acquired by Blackstone. Financial terms of the move were not announced. Accuvant said that Blackstone will acquire a majority stake in the compny, with Sverica International also investing alongside Blackstone in the transaction. Accuvant was led by Dan Burns. Accuvant had been acquired by Sverica in July of 2008.
