Denver-based security software and services developer
Accuvant, and its sister company,
FishNet Security, have finally shifted to one single company--
Optiv Security, the companies said this morning. The two companies, both of which had been acquired by private equity investor Blackstone, have been in a complicated and sometimes confusing process of merging their two operations over the last few months, even while hiring new executives and launching new products and services. Blackstone rolled up Accuvant and Fishnet in February; Blackstone had acquired Denver's Accuvant back in March of 2014. The new combined company, Optiv, is led by Dan Burns.
