Gnip said this morning that it has linked into cloud-based text and sentiment analysis provider
Semantria, as part of its Plugged In partner program. Semantria develops tools that can be used to analyze how people feel about companies, products, and more. The link lets partners tap into the social data analysis tools from Semantria usins Gnip's social data stream. Gnip--which is venture backed by First Round Capital, Foundry Group, and SoftTech VC--operates a service to allow enterprises to better tap into and analyze the massive amount of data from social sites like Twitter, Facebook, and others. Companies and researchers are both tapping into the social data from social sites and applying predictive analytics to
predict elections,
the Oscars, the spread of
the flu, and much, much more.
