TerraLUX, the venture backed developer of LED lighting products, has rolled out a new product aimed at the landscape and track lighting market. The company--which is backed by Access Ventures, Emerald Technology Ventures, and Generation Investment Management--said this morning that it has released a new, PAR20 LED replacement product called the TerraLUX TLM-R20 LED Engine. TerraLUX said its new LED lighting product uses only 17 watts, replacing typicaly 39-watt PAR20 Metal Halide bulbs with similar lighting power. TerraLUX is developing high efficiency, LED lighting products aimed at helping to reduce energy consumption in lighting.
