GoDaddy Expands Domain Menu, Adding 14 More Global Top Level Domains
Scottsdale, Arizona-based GoDaddy is continuing its expansion of top level domains being sold via the domain registrar, saying Wednesday that it has added .PHOTOGRAPHY, .CAMERA, .EQUIPMENT, .GALLERY, .GRAPHICS, .LIGHTING and .ESTATE for general registration. GoDaddy has a long list of names it is planning to roll out throughout the year, first listing those TLDs for pre-registration, and then later opening them up to the public. The new global Top Level Domains (gTLDs) are part of a major expansion of domain names that was approved by the ICANN, to make more domain names available for people to purchase.
