Online advertising network
Sovrn--the newly renamed Lijit--says that it now has over two million sites on its network, and is now seeing nearly 1 billion impressions per day, and is paying out nearly $2 million per week to its publishers. The company did not say how much that means in terms of revenue, but the numbers are a steep growth from when Lijit was
acquired by Federated Media back in 2011. Lijit said that, at that time, it had "thousands" of sites generating 100M impressions per day, which led to Federated Media buying Lijit for $100M. Last week, the former Lijit
split from Federated Media to create Sovrn, a new, independent ad business based here in Boulder.
