LogRhythm said this week that it has received a new patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, covering its analytics software engine. According to the company, it received U.S. Patent 8,543,694, which covers the analytical techniques to detect high-risk security events in real-time. The patent names Chris Petersen, Phillip Villella, and Brad Aisa as inventors. The company's patent was filed on November 23, 2011, and the company was represented byMarsh Fischmann & Breyfogle LLP. The patent was actually granted on September 24th.
