InsideSales.com Turns To Gamification To Motivate Sales Teams
InsideSales, the Provo, Utah-based startup developing cloud-based, sales management software, said it has launched a new gamification tool aimed at helping to increase the motivation of sales teams. The software--called PowerStandings Basic--is geared around motivating sales reps by having them compete with each other in an interactive environment. The new software runs within the popular Salesforce.com CRM software. InsideSales.com said gamification is aimed at the "competitive spirit" of sales reps, and can use things such as daily dials or closed revenue to have reps compete against one another. Gamification has become a popular technique in consumer services to motivate users to share and use products, but only recently has begun to show up in enterprise software like that from InsideSales.com.
