Scottsdale, Arizona-based online hosting and infrastructure provider
GoDaddy said this morning that it is planning expansion in Europe, and has hired a new VP to help head up its efforts across the region. GoDaddy said it has appointed Stefano Maruzzi--formerly at YOOX Group--to head up its expansion into EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), as part of an international push for the company. Maruzzi has also previously served at such companies as Google, Microsoft, and Conde Nast. GoDaddy said Maruzzi will serve as Vice President of EMEA, and will be based in London. GoDaddy also said it plans to open up a new, European Customer Care Centre somewhere in Europe, to be operational in late spring of 2014, covering 14 European languages.
