GoDaddy said this morning that it has sold off its
PlusServer business, to funds advised by
BC Partners, in a deal worth $456M. According to GoDaddy, the sale is part of a previously announced intent to explore "strategic alternatives" for PlusServer, which it acquired in April of 2017 when it acquired Host Europe Group (HEG). GoDaddy said it was advised by Oakley Advisory in the deal, along with Heuking Kuhn Luer Wojtek, OC&C, Deloitte and Ernst & Young.
