Denver-based
Virtela, the networking and IT services provider, has been acquired by
NTT Com, in a deal worth $525M in cash, the companies said today. According to NTT, the move will allow it to deliver cloud networking services, backbone, cloud computing, storage, and network services. Virtela had 400 employees, and had more than 500 customers worldwide.
