Virtela, a provider of managed network services, reported today that it has signed ViewSonic as a customer. Virtela did not disclose the financial impact of the deal, but said that ViewSonic will save around $500,000 in annual costs by choosing Virtela to provide and manage its global enterprise network. Virtela said it would support ViewSonic's Oracle ERP, Citrix XenAPP, and other applications via its MPLS network. ViewSonic is a major manufacturer of LCD TVs, computer monitors, projectors, and other display products.
