Occipital, which develops mobile, 3D, panaromic scanning and capture applications, has now raised over $1 million via it
Kickstarter project to develop a new, 3D capture sensor. The project--which
kicked off in September--is an effort by the company to create an inexpensive, 3D sensor which will allow the iPad and other devices to capture the 3D structure of rooms and objects. Occipital is backed by the Foundry Group.
