If you're a successful venture investor, with hundreds of millions under management, what kind of angel investments do you make? In the case of Foundry Group's
Brad Feld, you apparently follow your stomach. Feld, in
a blog post, said that due to his Foundry Group fund agreements, he can't make angel investments in tech companies--but he's still active investing, in food companies. He said that he recently invested in company Barnana (banana snacks), and has investments in Justin's Nut Butter, Rick's Picks, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Quinn Popcorn, among others.
