Vivint, the provider of home automation services, has tapped an executive from Xerox as its new COO. According to Vivint, it has named David Bywater as its new Chief Operating Officer, heading up customer operations, human resources, field service, and supply chain. Bywater had most recently served as Executive Vice President and Corporate Officer for Xerox, and its $1.8 billion State Government Services Business. He also spent ten years at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), heading up a number of that company's business units.
