Level 3 In Expansion Deal With MLB
Broomfield, Colorado-based Internet infrastructure provider Level 3 is reporting this morning that it has signed an expanded deal with MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), the interactive media and internet company of Major League Baseball. Level 3 said it will provide data center services to MLBAM's digital media products, including MLB.TV live video streaming. Financial impact of the deal was not announced. Level3 said it will provide archival, backhaul and internet video streaming needs of MLBAM's digital media properties.
