ZocDoc Plans To Hire Hundreds In Phoenix, Opens New Office
ZocDoc, A New York-based startup which helps patients find doctors and book appointments, said Tuesday that it plans to hire as many as 650 people over the next year in a new, Phoenix office. According to ZocDoc, it officially opened up its new office in Scottsdale, Arizona, with plans to hire 66 people in Phoenix by the end of the year. ZocDoc operates an online site which helps pateitnst find doctors and book their actual appointments online, filling out necessary paperwork online instead of at the doctor's office. The new office will house its customer service and sales teams. The company currently has around 400 employees, split between its headquarters in New York, and Pune, India. ZocDoc had announced its plans to set up the office in October.
