Tallwave announced this morning that it has added eight, new semi-finalists for its first "High Tide" startup competition, an effort to select companies for its accelerator. Tallwave said it has added
Fit Sponsors (Tempe, mobile fitness apps);
HiringSolved (Chandler, resume and talent search tools);
Localotto (Phoenix, software for local merchants);
NuYeek (Tempe, online sharing);
REIN (Scottsdale, cloud-based residential property management software);
SMART Loyalty Programs (Mesa, loyalty programs);
Sunsonix (Phoenix, environmentally safe cleaning for solar cells); and
WitnessTree (Glendale, Arizona, text analytics for the legal industry) to its program. Tallwave, which is headed by Jeffrey Pruitt, said it is focused on validating, commercializing and scaling emerging technology and digital media ventures.
