Infusionsoft, the developer of sales and marketing software for small businesses, announced today that it has acquired Orem, Utah-based social media marketing software developer
GroSocial. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. GroSocial was founded by Zach Mangum, Kevin Kirkland and Chris Wright. According to InfusionSoft, GroSocial's 19 person team joins the company, bringing its employee count to 370. InfusionSoft is just coming off a huge, $54M venture funding round from Goldman Sachs. GroSocial's software is used for social media marketing and to help small businesses generate leads. GroSocial was backed by Kickstart Seed Fund, Monarch Ventures, and
Rock & Hammer Ventures, among others.
