Sharklet Technologies Lands $2M
Aurora, Colorado-based Sharklet Technologies, a developer of materials technology which inhibits the growth of bacteria on surfaces, said today that it has raised $2M in a funding round. The round came from Altria Ventures. Sharklet is headed by Mark Spiecker. The firm says its textured film products create a barrier to bacteria on high-tech surfaces, and it is also developing a urinary catheter using the same technology, in addition to licensing its technology.
