Accellos, which develops supply chain management software for SMBS, has scored a major investment from private equity firm
Accel-KKR. Details of the investment were not announced. According to Accel-KKR, the funding gives it a majority equity stake in Accellos. Accellos is headed by Michael Cornell. Accellos serves small and midsized businesses with software used to manage their supply chain; the company says its has over 3,000 customers in 27 countries. Accellos was previously backed by Centennial Ventures, Monitor Clipper Partners, Murphree Ventures, Roynat Capital, and The Hillman Company.
