Provo, Utah-based
InsideSales.com, which provides cloud-based software for sales automation and analytics, said today that it has decided to donate one percent (1%) of its revenue to the local Boy Scouts of America Council, the Utah National Parks Council, as a part of its community support efforts this year. InsideSales.com did not say how much the donation is worth, but did say it annually takes 1 percent of its revenue, 1 percent of its labor, and 1 percent of its product for a year to donate to a different cause. The effort was inspired by a similar program started by Salesforce.com's Marc Benioff. The Utah National Parks Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves 81,000 youth, and according to InsideSales.com is the largest council in the United States.
