A deal to take
Ancestry.com has three private equity bidders, according to a report today from Reuters. Ancestry.com, which has been in play since at least June, apparently
is seeing bids around $1.5 billion, or $35 per share for the company. Bidders are private equity firms Hellman & Friedman LLC, Permira Advisers LLP and TPG Capital LP, according to the Reuters report. Reuters cited "three people familiar with the matter".
