What does solar energy have to do with education? A lot, if you're Denver-based
AlsoEnergy. The company, which develops energy monitoring and financial management software for the renewable energy industry, said Tuesday that it has partnered with
Arizona Public Service, Arizona's largest electric utility, to provide educational kiosks that learn how photovoltaic solar systems at more than 30 K-12 Arizona schools are generating power, and how much schools are saving on their electric bills. AlsoEnergy is providing energy performance and production monitoring data on systems which have been installed by Arizona Public Service on those schools, as part of a program called "Solar for Schools". Alsoenergy said the win will also allow teachers to access data, which they can tie into science and other lessons.
