TerraEchos, the venture-backed developer of security technology, said this morning that it has licensed technology from the U.S. Navy. The firm, which has the backing of Flywheel Ventures, True Ventures, S&K Technologies, and GCS Research, said it has licensed a Bayesian Data Reduction Algorithm and related foundational patents from the U.S. Naval Undersea Warfare Center. Financial details of the licensing deal were not announced. TerraEchos said the technology would go to enhance the real-time signal analysis and classification capabilities of its platform.
