Zayo Group has inked a deal to provide bandwidth infrastructure to cloud hosting and IT services firm
Peak10, Zayo said Thursday. Accordin gto Zayo, it will connect Peak10's new 60,000 square foot data center in Charlotte, NC, with its existing campus in the same city. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Zayo said it will build, manage and operate a fully redundant Wavelength system for Peak 10, until Peak 10 is ready to take control of the equipment and dark fiber connecting the two data centers. Zayo is now a major provider of fiber-based bandwidth, covering 42 states and 45,700 route miles. Zayo is also the owner of its own colocation space at multiple centers nationwide.
