Wavelink Debuts Mobile Browser
Salt Lake City-based mobile device management software firm Wavelink is getting into the mobile browser software market, saying yesterday that it has launched a new enterprise browser called Velocity. Wavelink said its browser overcomes poor performance, connection interruptions, narrow OS platform support and other issues aimed at helping enterprises to make their mobile work forces more productive. Pricing on the new software was not disclosed. Wavelink said it is hoping to give its enterprise a more reliable way to run their mission critical applications on mobile devices with the software.
