Salt Lake City venture capital firm
vSpring Capital's annual ranking of the top entrepreneurs to watch in Utah, the
vSpring v100, has become a staple of the local technology industry in Utah, and was closely watched for its naming of the most promising entrepreneurs in the state. However, with the merger of vSpring and
Signal Peak Ventures yesterday--and the adoption of the Signal Peak name--there was some question of what would happen with the rankings. Not to fear--according to a spokesperson for Signal Peak, the annual ranking will continue, and will just be called the "v100", rather than the vSpring v100. vSpring and Signal Peak said Wednesday that the two firms will merge their efforts, with the partners in the two firms joining forces to manage their respective portfolios.
