NewsGator Launches Social Voting For the Enterprise
Taking a clue from the popularity of polls and voting on Facebook and other social sites, Denver-based NewsGator said this week that it has added its own, voting tools for its enterprise customers. NewsGator, which develops social networking software for businesses, said its new polling feature--available on its Social Sites 2010 product--lets users cast their votes on topics, share opinions, or see what others think of an idea or project decision. NewsGator said the new feature lets users see in real time which choices are the most selected in the poll, and ways to filter and see what polls are happening.
