Limelight Networks, the provider of content delivery network services, reported today that it has tied with
Conviva, a provider of video performance monitoring technology. The two said they are partnering to integrate Conviva's technology with Limelight's network, which will allow Limelight's customers to gain real-time, audience metrics and data. The two said the offering will provide up-to-the-second measurements of video quality and audience engagement. Conviva provides video quality optimization and analytics for online streaming; Limelight offers up a content delivery network (CDN) used by content providers to deliver better performance, particularly on data intensive video streaming, photos, and games.
