Tendril, Simple Energy Power Energy Savings At SD&G
Boulder-based energy management software provider Tendril is bragging this morning that it has helped consumers at San Diego Gas & Electric save 20 percent in energy, via a campaign from SD&G. Tendril's software was distributed via a "Biggest Energy Saver" campaign by the utility, which utilized social media and gamification software from Boulder-based SimpleEnergy. Tendril said the campaign, which ran from September 1st until November 30th, included 200 SD&G residential customers. Tendril and Simple Energy banded together in September for the effort. SImple Energy is led by Yoav Lurie.
