Looking to prevent drunk driving and twittering, Broomfield, Colorado-based
Webroot released a new, free mobile app last week which it says will help users figure out if they are sober. The firm's new app--the
Webroot Sobriety Test, works on both Android and iPhone, and has users go through a series of tests to determine how inebriated users are. Webroot said the app--created by TDA for the company--is aimed at avoiding things like posting embarrassing photos on Facebook, sending drunken texts, or other unintended results of drinking too much at holiday parties. Webroot is a provider of PC security software.
