Security software developer Webroot Software Inc. reported earlier this week that its SME Security 3.1 application has passed ICSA Labs certification testing for desktop/server anti-virus detection. Webroot said ICSA, as an independent division of global information security specialist Cybertrust, is considered the security industry's central anti-virus product-testing and certification facility. Webroot's software is targeted at small- to medium-sized businesses, and protects against spyware, viruses, Trojans, rootkits, keyloggers, adware and other Internet threats. Webroot Software is headquartered in Boulder, Colo.
