MyHeritage Launches Mobile Family Tree App
MyHeritage, the venture backed family history site which acquired FamilyLink last month, said this morning that it has launched a new, mobile app to allow users to access their family tree from their iPhone, iPad, or Android. The company said the app allows users to call or email relatives, access birthday and anniversaries, and other information from their family tree from their smartphone. MyHeritage has offices in Provo, Utah, along with London and Tel Aviv; the firm's Utah operations came from an acquisition of FamilyLink by the company in November. The new apps are available in the iTunes App store as well as Android Market.
