It's been six months since Provo, Utah-based genealogy and family history site
MyHeritage.com bought family tree site
Geni.com--and it's now integrating its historical records and information into the acquired site. According to Geni, it has begun adding historical records and information into its family trees, thanks to data from MyHeritage and two new features, Record Matching and Smart Matching. According to Geni, users of its service can now add historical records to their family tree, and also help add new branches in their tree based on those documents and records. The addition of those records will add "significant new detail" to the service, according to Geni. MyHeritage is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, and Accel Partners.
