Level 3 Aligns With Brocade On Storage Networking
Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications announce dtoday that it is working together with storage networking provider Brocade, to ensure that its storage area networking service is fully compatible with current industry hardware. Level 3 said it provides turnkey, end-to-end solutions for connecting data centers using Fibre Channel, FICON, Fibre Channel over Internet Protocol (FCIP) networks over its data center networking service. Level 3 said the move will allow Brocade to act as a "network consolidator" to ensure that its customer's network services and hardware are compatible with its SAN protocol service.
