HireVue, which develops web-based software to help companies interview job candidates via phone and video, reported today that it has launched an online platform to allow companies to interview candidates via video. HireVue said its Digital Interview Platform can be used to standardize and manage phone and in-person interviews, as well as conduct online video-based interviews. HireVue is headed by Mark Newman, and venture backed by Granite Ventures and JCP Capital. The firm's service lets companies record video interviews and ask pre-determined questions of candidates, which can be reviewed later by recruiters and hiring managers.
