Occipital, the maker of 360 degree, panoramic photo applications for the iPhone, is boosting the social aspects of its service, saying today that it has introduced new "Public Profiles" for the service. The firm said the new profiles allow users to share all of their 360 Panoramas in a single place, allowing users to find public profiles, share with others, learn more about a photographer, and more. The firm said the new feature came due to requests from users with a way to share their panoramas in a single place. Occipital was founded by Jeff Powers and Vikas Reddy. The company's mobile app makes it very easy to create and share 360 degree photo panoramas, by simply loading an application and turning a phone 360 degrees. The firm is also working on other enhancements beyond the panorama feature.
